| Introduction | I am married to a wonderful man who challenges, inspires, and really knows me. I am the mother to an energetic boy (Alexander, age 8) and an imaginative girl (Avery, age 7). They are without a doubt the most fabulous kids ever. We live on the west coast. A million years ago, I earned a doctorate in psychology (Stanford) and had a rewarding career in management consulting (Bain & co). I find these old experiences influence me quite a bit in my current role as a homeschool teacher. Our school is playful, hands-on, outdoorsy, and challenging. We have loads of fun, but do work hard. Our curriculum pulls from many diverse sources, including Montessori, Charlotte Mason, and Sonlight.
