| Introduction | Recipient of a rare lung-liver transplant in 2005. Only about 70 have been performed in the U.S. I had a rare genetic disease called Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. My transplant was done at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - one of only a handful of hospitals in the U.S. to ever do lung-liver transplants. |
