Introduction	Vanessa Atalanta is the Latin name for one of my favourite butterflies, the Red Admiral. I chose to blog under a pseudonym as I use my real name for other writing, and wanted to keep this separate. I set up this blog because I wanted a place where I could write from the heart - writing 'something true', without feeling the need to censor myself or live up to any expectations. It's probably quite a self indulgent project, and, I imagine, not a particularly interesting read. But then again, you never really know whether or not your own experiences and stories will resonate with others unless you are brave and share them. So this is me... sharing!
