Introduction I am working as a Principal Scientist at Southern Regional Research Centre of Central Sheep and Wool Research Institute, a premier Institution under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. I did B.V.Sc., from Madras Veterinary College, Chennai during 1983 to 1988. I completed M.V.Sc., from the same college during 1992. My guide was Dr.R.Kadirvel, Former Vice-Chancellor of TANUVAS, Chennai, India. I had 8 years of service in Tamil nadu Animal Husbandry Service as a Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. Then, i moved on to ICAR and joined at the present place on 31.12.1996. I have completed 18 years of service in ICAR as a Scientist. I have been incharge for the SRRC Division for the last 3 years. My age is 48 years. We supply Sheep germplasm for breeding purpose to all southern states of India. We offer training on commercial Sheep farming. I did Ph.D from Veterinary College, Hebbal of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore during 2000 to 2002 and secured best Ph.D student award.
