| Introduction | I am a recovering academic (meaning I loved being in academics but it's time for some real-world experience, so I'm looking for work in the private sector and going through "research withdrawal"--yes, I love research that much) who studied the stereotyping of West Virginia. Still do. I was raised in Boone County, but now live in Kanawha County. In between, I moved and traveled a lot and have lived in a number of places. Despite the name, I'm a girl. I'm married to Curmy, the curmudgeon and beloved husband. We are misanthropes in love. We have five critters: two dogs and three cats. They rule our house. |
