I was on the fast track to notoriety and it appeared that Hollywood was starting to take notice. And then it happened! Illness had come into my life, halted my groove, and paved the way for some valuable life lessons. After a 2001 diagnosis of Fibromyalgia Syndrome, an autoimmune neurotransmitter illness characterized by intense full body pain, chronic fatigue, depression , hormonal imbalances among other symptoms, I knew that I had found greater purpose.
