Introduction	Currently working towards a PhD - focus on education leadership and governance and, in particular, the executive/non-executive relationship. I have over 30 years experience of leadership, management and governance including chairing boards in education and the non-profit sector. Currently a chair of governors at an infants school, primary school federation. Experience in leading change in the not for profit sector. Experienced strategic thinker and leader. Recently spent almost 4 years supporting governance with local authority school improvement. Previous career in retail leadership and management at all levels including board directorship. Now retired after 12 years spent leading courses in Higher Education in English Literature and Education. Career break from paid employment to have my two children and gain academic qualifications 1992 - 2003
