| Introduction | Grace Children's Village is a project in Uganda focused on poverty alleviation and opportunity creation. Since 2009, a demonstration farm, comprising crops and animals (pigs, goats, cows and chickens), has been helping to improve farming techniques of local farmers. We currently have five classrooms built and a further temporary classroom, which together teaches three nursery classes and three primary classes. During 2013, over 130 children are being educated and fed by the programme alongside local initiatives helps run the project. Outside of Uganda the project works through inspired, self- starting people- this enables donations get out there and have a massive impact. |
