| Introduction | Rabbi Michael Albala grew up in Brooklyn, NY and attended Public School for his primary and secondary education. During college, Rabbi Albala decided to take a year off to study in Israel. He attended Ohr Somayach in Jerusalem and Yeshiva Ohr Yitzchok upon his return to America. He later received his semicha from Rav Yehonatan Peretz - Rosh Machloket of the SOLET Program. After serving as the principal of a local Yeshiva for several years, Rabbi Albala founded Darchei Yitzchak - a program in memory of his father, Yitzchak ben Nachum a"h, that teaches the foundation behind the laws of Judaism and focuses on instilling belief in Hashem. Rabbi Albala resides in Brooklyn with his wife and children. |
