| Introduction | What happens when you pair curiosity with necessity? I see the need for change in the media world - specifically, a balance between business and ethics that satisfies the needs of both, rather than compromising both. As a result, I am pursuing a master's degree in applied ethics while practicing journalism as a beat reporter at a county paper and trying to spark dialogue about what journalism is - and should be. I think this generation of media is more about opportunity than mere destruction, and I can't wait to see what becomes possible. |
