| Introduction | September Hargrove is an economic developer with over 5 years of experience in public policy analyses and advocacy. Currently, she is the Policy & Program Manager at the Mayor's Office of Economic Development for the City of New Orleans. Here, her work centers on small business, workforce, job creation and initiatives that promote economic growth and inclusion. September is a former Gubernatorial Appointee in the Schwarzenegger Administration and California Senate Fellow. An active volunteer, September promotes college access, work-readiness, foster youth, financial literacy, and youth development, among other topics. September received a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and her master's degree in public policy and urban planning from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. |
