Introduction	I'm a native of the Chicago area, but I moved to New Mexico years ago to work at a major DOE weapons lab here. I'm married with two grown sons.
Interests	Founder/admin of Convo Pit (The Conversation Pit) - a 275,000+ post casual social discussion forum. I also enjoy shooting pool, jazz, photography, video creation/authoring, ancient Egypt.
Favorite movies	Braveheart, Gladiator, The Ten Commandments, Pan's Labyrinth, Donnie Darko, The Butterfly Effect, Patriot, Final Destination, The Party (old Peter Sellers), Pi: Faith In Chaos.
Favorite music	Rock and roll (of course)- almost ALL R&R since I went through my teens in rock's best era - mid-'60s to mid-'70s, jazz along the lines of early Ray Charles, Del Paxton and '60s Oscar Peterson. I also love gospel, especially older Mahalia Jackson material.
Favorite books	Lord of the Rings, Fever, Timeline, The Kent Family Chronicles (John Jakes), Left Behind series (Tim LaHaye/Jerry Jenkins).
