Introduction	I am aged in my 60s, and I live in a nursing home due to ill health. I retired in 2005, after a successful career as an accountant, compliance consultant and part-time university lecturer. I remain interested in life outside the nursing home and I go out with my husband and family regularly. I have recently published a book of my poetry. I make all my own clothes. Unfortunately I spend a lot of time resting due to my ill-health. I cope with SLE (lupus), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Sjogrens Syndrome, Rheumatoid and Psoriatic Arthritis, Achalasia, cellulits and severe spinal problems which necessitate using a wheelchair to get around. I use oxygen 24/7, and have an SPC and an ileostomy. I am currently trialling spinal nerve stimulation.
Interests	sewing, reading, not interested in sport at all, love spending time with children and grandchildren
Favorite movies	Fantasia, is my all time favorite followed by, the Rocky Horror movie. Recently I enjoyed, Wanted, Taken, The Golden Compass.
Favorite music	baroque era classical, 60s,70s 80s classical rock & roll, Queen, Neil Diamond and other dorky rockers - I am very catholic in my tastes
Favorite books	murder mysteries, Jane Austen style romances, poetry,. I really enjoyed, The Time Traveller's Wife, Native Tongue, the Golden Compass, the Gone Away World, Food and Science, and my regular subscriptions to sewing magazines Threads and Stitches
