| Introduction | It's great to meet you! I'm Nate Birt, author of two nonfiction books and of supernatural thriller and horror stories. I'm a Missouri transplant born in Colorado. I have a master's in journalism and have spent my career primarily in food and agriculture working on climate change transformation. These days when I'm not writing books, I'm running my own consulting business helping nonprofit executives accelerate climate-change solutions. I sit with existential dread daily and use writing to navigate my feelings, bring others along for some spooky, and maintain a sense of joy and good humor through it all. |

The burro. 'Cause they're adorable. Anyway, I grew up with mountains and I love them, but I never get to see burros these days.
