| Introduction | Jake and Amanda met when they were teenagers (Amanda still unable to date). Amanda had just moved to AZ from Maine and moved into Jake's best friend's (Layne Peterson) ward. Jake and Amanda stayed close friends for many many years. Jake even sent Amanda flowers on her birthdays from the army and called to keep in touch all the time. After Jake got home from his mission in December 04 he was dead set on NOT getting married. Jake and Amanda ran into each other at the singles ward and started hanging out as friends once again. They started dating in April of 05, were engaged in June, and married in September. So much for NOT getting married. |
