| Introduction | I grew up on a farm in Nebraska. After college I taught in my home town. The opportunity to teach in Alaska sounded exciting and proved to be more than I ever dreamed. I fell in love with Alaska and planned to spend the rest of my life there. Then I fell in love with a young man just down the valley from my home in Nebraska. I left Alaska, married, and spent the next 43 years living "the good life." After my husband died I returned to Alaska. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to know I'm alive and back living in Alaska. I hope to spend the rest of my life letting the beauty of Jesus be seen in me while I revel in the grandeur of the world created by a loving God. |
