Introduction	I got my love for "junking" honest. Back in the 1950's when I was a young, impressionable girl, my family lived in rural Indiana. My Dad was a long-haul truck driver so he was gone all week and would only be home on weekends. Mom had no car so if she needed anything from the store we would have to walk to the Country Store which was about three miles from our house. Mom would gather her four kids and off we would go the store. About half way there we would pass a dump. Mom would rest while us kids would dig around in the dump looking for "buried treasures." Little brother once found a cap pistol and another time our dog, Spot, found a ball. For me, these were simple, happy times.
