Introduction	I am a midwife who does not have the luxury of not thinking about race, class, sexuality, and gender issues on a daily basis. I created this blog to document my observations of the intersection of the aforementioned issues with pregnancy and birth. I'm also exploring some of the new (and not so new) aspects of my identity, i.e. midwife, doula, wife, sister, immigrants' daughter. So, I hope you'll share in my journey and add to it.
