| Introduction | Food has been my passion and obsession since early childhood. My mom repeatedly scolded me in our native language, ”You are living to eat, when you should be eating to live!” Early on, it took the form of eating, and later transformed into cooking and baking, and still eating of course :) I experimented with tons of recipes from all avenues. I attended the Pastry Arts and Cooking Techniques programs at the L’Academie de Cuisine, and am now volunteering there to assist. The expertise I gained opened the door for me to provide desserts for a local venue, “Idylwood Grill & Wine Bar’! The gig only lasted 3 months, because it was difficult to juggle with work, but it was great to realize my potential. For now, I’m a home cook, and love to practice my craft on my family and friends. Food brings me pure happiness, and nothing makes me happier than seeing my loved ones enjoy my food. I don’t claim to be a chef, nor did I create all the recipes that I’ll post. Some are my own, and some I have mixed/matched/molded to my tastes. I have learned a lot from my classes, research, and experiences, and thought this would be the best way to express my passion and hopefully inspire you! |
