| Introduction | I started dancing at the age of three. As a child I performed all over Europe and the US with the Oquirrh Mountain Cloggers. I studied tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, turning techniques, contemporary, and character dance. I danced on the top teams at my studio, served as dance mistress in HS, and choreographed extensively. I later danced with the UVSC ballroom team where we took first at the International Blackpool Competition. Later, I transferred to BYU where I became the only dancer to make the top team during my first audition. I was honored with the Pardoe Dance Scholarship which is given to only one girl per year, and was also awarded "Most Outstanding Dancer" by the BYU faculty. I founded a dance studio where I taught and directed for over seven years before I had my first daughter and sold the studio to make more time for family. I'm happy to be teaching again in my home where I can strike a healthy balance of work and family. |
| Interests | Apart from my husband and two beautiful girls, I love nothing more than to dance and to teach dance. |
| Favorite books | I'll read Harry Potter over and over. |
