| Introduction | Richard Zampella is an American Multimedia Producer, preservationist, and business owner whose work spans documentary filmmaking, historic preservation, and civic engagement. As Managing Partner of TransMultimedia Entertainment, a New York–based creative services agency, he has produced projects for American Public Television recognized for their cinematic storytelling and historical focus. In addition to his media work, Zampella is the owner and steward of Idylease, a historic resort property in the Highlands region of New Jersey. Built in 1902, Idylease is a rare surviving example of early twentieth-century resort architecture. Under his care, the property has been maintained as both a historical site and a working 100-acre estate that includes a managed tree farm and an FAA-licensed helistop used by emergency services. His stewardship reflects a long-term commitment to preserving both the architectural character and the surrounding landscape of the region. |
