| Introduction | The first thing that comes to mind when someone asks who I am is a Mom of Five. Five what? Depends on the day. We live in what many would consider a small home, but we feel blessed every day to have it. Except for those days I dream of burning it to the ground. I'm a writer at heart - I love the sound, shade, manner, and shape of words - and tend to be eclectic of thought. I bake and cook for the love of food, for the love of experimentation, and for the love of artful expression (though a lot of what I make is more like a Jackson Pollock, rather than a Monet. Not that there's anything wrong with Pollock, but come on...which one would you really rather stare at?). I engage in political/social discussions (arguments) because I just can't help myself, even when I know better, though I am learning. I am all of these things. Mostly. And I am so much more. Mostly. |

Those birdies for sure rock out to Oldies, unless they're trying to get their chicks to sleep, then it's nothing but NPR.
