Itany
| Introduction | In my childhood, instead of playing with a Barbie (and due to my not owning one) I would draw day and night while chewing on the ends of my hair. I often had my head in the clouds (as I sometimes do now) so it was no surprise when I stood up behind my Mum on a bike and managed to get my left ankle caught in the wheel spokes. Even today, my skin is still lighter there as a result. I also once closed a gate on my hand, causing my nail to fall off. Luckily though, it grew back. ☪ Later, the nursery nurses adored me so much that I was allowed to choose a sign for myself (I chose a moon with stars) but when I spoke Hungarian, not Russian, they finally understood me, and their adoration tapered off. What’s more, my play mates nicknamed me ‘meowing cat’, the boys in junior school called me a witch (because when we’d been working with clay, I’d made an old witch) and my grammar school form teacher called me a pain in the neck. And dull-haired. And speech defected. ☪ Regarding my future plans, I hope that all four of my wisdom teeth will grow. |
