| Introduction | Glutton by choice and never for punishment. Food is a passion; as a French gal, it runs in my blood. Not diabetes or bad cholesterol though - I have inherited good genes. So no worries, this blog is here to stay. When I don’t eat, I write (sometimes about it), translate, run, read, grow my own salsa ingredients, snap pictures on the street and make jewelry. I dream of a long journey to discover South America, perfect my Spanish and my dancing skills, and get natural highlights. My ambition? Getting published. My simple pleasures? Hang out on the deck with my dog, cats and hubby. Best decision? Quit academia after 6 years of misery. |
| Interests | Stalking my pets with a camera,designing jewelry, hiking in the imaginary mountains surrounding Chicago, drinking wine (sometimes beer coz I am trying to become a Yankee), cooking and eating good food (because I don't want to be too Yankee), trying to improve my home (and the ones of others who let me), walking in the snow and making angels, making the best of my French-ness in every day life. |
