Introduction	Kris was born on the Kentucky side of the Cincinnati area. He studied art education, studio and history at the University of Kentucky under the direction of world renowned professors like artist/art educator Dr. George Szekely. Besides creating art, Kris has taught grade school and high school age students. He currently resides in Lexington, KY, the horse capital of the world, with his wife Lu. Kris’s art is heavily influenced by his upbringing and travels to mountainous areas. He loves to ski, backpack and participate in adventurous activities, which can be seen in his works.
