Introduction	Messianic Orthodoxy is a term I have coined for the slowly growing number of those followers of Yeshua who choose to live generally according to Orthodox Jewish halachah. Though the term "orthodox" is often thrown around within Messianic Judaism, in 99.9% of the cases the individual or group referred to with this title, though more observant of halachah, are not really Orthodox, and usually conform, at best, with Conservative halachah. Though we, by and large, accept Orthodox halachah, there are obviously points that must be addressed as well. The key distinction is that we see these differences, and our resulting attempts to grapple with them, as being more similar to differences that have occurred within Orthodox Judaism (i.e. Hasidism, Religious Zionism etc.) and should be dealt with accordingly.
