| Introduction | I teach journalism classes at both De Anza and at San Jose City colleges. Prior to becoming a college professor, I served as a full-time communications professional at several colleges in Southern California, as well owned a freelance writing and publishing business. My undergrad degree is in Journalism (with an emphasis in PR) from Cal State Long Beach. My master's in Journalism is from University of Memphis. And, yes, that is a picture of me with Anderson Cooper. I got to meet him when he spoke at the Flint Center. |
