| Introduction | Hi, my name is Christina and I'm a sewing, fabric and fashion enthusiast. I'm journaling my sewing adventure. I'm working on a self made wardrobe (excluding intimates, for right now, anyways) made up of mostly dresses and skirts, which are my favorite things to wear. My goal is to turn my hobby into a bona fide business. I'm a self taught sewist & started in my mid 20's. I stopped after a couple of years because I didn't think I was good enough. Now that I'm in my 40's I realize I just wasn't being patient with myself. I picked up the craft again and with the help of the online sewing community I'm growing leaps and bounds. " I'm back BABY", in my George Constanza voice. I've also added blogging to my spare time resume, By keeping a written & visual record of my progress (highs and lows) I believe it will help me to stay the course. I also hope to help others on their sewing journey. The blogging community has been so helpful to me with their willingness to share ideas, tips encouragement and wit. I feel compelled to share also. Ummm, I almost just broke out singing "We are the World"! :-) |
