| Introduction | I'm a registered nurse, working at Long Beach Memorial. I enjoy my job very much, though it can be very stressful and difficult at times. In my free time, I read, throw frisbees, and try to score goals for my roller hockey team. I read every piece of information available that pertains to the LA Kings, I rip movies to my hard drive to watch them later, and I love Xbox live. I recently bought a new bike that I pedal around all the time; if you're ever in Long Beach look for me. I love drinking coffee and beer, occasionally to the point of excess, but I make it a point to always have fun. |

| Favorite Music | I love music, and there are a few bands that I'm especially drawn to; particularly Weezer and Radiohead. I'd rather listen to Pinkerton, the Blue Album, and anything Radiohead's every done than 99.9% of other music. However, I wouldn't say I'm completely close-minded, and enjoy several other bands, including Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, Fifteen, The Knife, MIA, At the Drive-in, Animal Collective, Fugazi, Bjork, The Beach Boys, The Beatles (although my interest is waning), Elliott Smith, Sigur Ros, and certain Top 40 hits on KISS FM when I feel like listening to music that is mindless. |
| Favorite Books | East of Eden, Grapes of Wrath, Cannery Row, A Confederacy of Dunces, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius, What is the What, Slaughterhouse-Five, On the Road, Jim the Boy, The Blue Star, Siddhartha, One Flew Over the Cuckoos' Nest, Lord of the Flies, Gulliver's Travels, 1984, Animal Farm, Catcher in the Rye. These are not all the books I've ever read, and although some of them were mandatory reading for high school, I enjoyed them and hope to expand this list further in future years. |
