Introduction	Born and raised in Bristol, England I moved to Toronto at the age of 20 studying Fashion at Ryerson Polytechnic. I started a company called Solosport where I designed and manufactured active sportswear which although interesting and challenging didn’t provide enough opportunities for me to develop my own textiles. Now I use my love of free motion machine embroidery using miles of many colours of thread to create beautiful textile vases, cuffs, bowls and art quilts. Sometimes there are layers of free motion machine embroidery creating an intense depth of colour which moves around the vase. Other times there is a simple juxtaposition of interesting fabrics enhanced by machine embroidery
