Introduction	I am an instructor at a local college where I teach freshman comp (rhetoric and literature), advanced compostion/creative nonfiction, Intro to Fiction, and Writing in the Humanities. Interests	Knitting, reading, writing, movies, music, travel, cats
Favorite movies	The Princess Bride, The Big Chill, The Magnificent Seven, Angels in America, Citizen Kane, Arsenic and Old Lace--really too many for this space.
Favorite music	Dave Matthews, Lyle Lovett, Elvis, Dwight Yokem, Joni Mitchell, Crowded House, The Pretenders, the Beatles--again, the list is endless and eclectic.
Favorite books	I have nearly 6000 books, so trying to narrow down my favorites is impossible--though Shakespeare, Dickinson, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Flannery O'Connor, E. A. Poe, Walker Percy, William Faulkner top the list.
