| Introduction | I have been an elementary educator for the past six years, teaching at Riverside Elementary, Park Elementary, and Washington Online School-Utah. During these years, I have been involved in many choirs, including the Red Hawk 4th and 5th grade early morning choir (2 years), 3rd grade Christmas choirs (4 years), and an after school 4-H choir (1 year). Not only did I teach my students how to sing and love music, I taught them many life skills, such as team building, performance techniques, courage, and the value of service. My students loved performing and sharing their talents with others. Some of our favorite performances took place at homes for the elderly. My goal is to use music to help children feel more confident while using their talents to bless others' lives. |
