| Introduction | I am a stay at home mother of three children and I was always on the look out for a cheaper alternative to the everyday costs of a single income family.I knew about cloth nappies but hated the thought of folding,soaking,using pins and pilchers etc..until one day when I stumbled across a thread in a mothers forum discussing the new alternative to the old terry flat nappies,I couldn't believe it finally an easy fool proof nappy that actually worked just as good or even better then a disposable and was kind to the environment,my budget and my everyday motherly duties. I loved the mcn's that I had bought for my daughter but I wanted more unique one of a kind nappies,that's when I started sewing my own nappies and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed making them and seeing them being worn.That's when I started thinking about starting my own mcn(modern cloth nappy)label and that's where "JungleBumz" was formed. |
