| Introduction | First of all, I am learning to find calm among chaos...my home is a certifiable zoo. I love to write; love quotes, cooking, reading, writing, music; have a witty, slightly sarcastic sense of humor; am fortunate enough to have really great friends and an insane family that I love unconditionally; love any and all things lemony; lavender, full moons, daisies and fresh baked anything; have an uncanny ability to remember anyone's birthday and a variety of other dates; tend to look at life through rose colored glasses; and a firm believer in karma. Have acquired way too many nicknames for 1 person - including, but not limited too, Mac, Mackey, Roo (as in Kanga), Pita, Mare, Marebear, Marbles (as in completely lost mine) and well, of course, Mom. If nicknames are any indication of one's personality, then I am extremely multifaceted...or slightly schizophrenic. |
| Interests | The kids and I love movies...although they see way more than I ever do. We try to get to the McHenry drive-in whenever possible in the summer. Their favorite foods include pizza, raw noodles, oreo cookies and did I mention pizza? My favorites include Mexican, Mediterranean and Thai. Adam loves guitar, boxing and video/computer games. Kat loves music, boxing and her friends. I love theatre, music, reading, photography, cooking at home, entertaining friends and family. When I need to relax, I head for the beach to read (Being in Chicago and all, I guess that means I don't relax much in the winter.) |
