| Introduction | I have worked as a physical therapist in California since 1999 and have been an owner/ director since 2001 at different facilities. I have worked for a private practice, a corporate network, directed a network facility, partnered with that same group and eventually sold the practice to a physician group. Yes, I am part of a POPTS! I decided to start this blog after hearing the rhetoric surrounding AB 783 here in California. I feel there is so much more to this issue (and many others) than what we've all been reading. I hope to use this Blog to discuss PT related issues with a focus on California. Since I have literally worked on both sides of the out patient debate, I have a slightly different take than what we seem to get from the APTA and its local chapters. I welcome debate on any topic I post and hope that this can become a place where ALL people can come to learn a little more about issues that are relevant and pertinent in todays heath care system. |
