| Introduction | I am an avid photographer and I can't remember not having a camera in my hand. My dear husband gave me a digital camera when they first came out (around 1997) and I was hooked, despite the poor quality and low resolution of the images. Now many cameras later (LOL) I now own a wonderful Canon 1Ds Mark III SLR. Yup, I'm a canon gal. I love the fact that you can take hundreds of photos and not have to pay for processing. I also love Photoshop and the endless creative ways you can manipulate and enhance images. My favorite subjects are children (and babies) and birds, but I also love landscape and nature photography as well. Loving photography as I do gives me an opportunity to get out and experience our amazing world and record the memories the way I see them. Recently retired from a rewarding and successful career in the biotech industry, I love the fact that I have more time to devote to the things I love: my family, my friends, and my photography. I'm lucky enough to have a home on Cape Cod where the photographic possibilities are endless! |
