| Introduction | At the age of 24, I suddenly found myself facing the diagnosis of a brain tumor. As a nurse being a patient was something I never expected to experience. I don't belong on that "side of the bed" so to speak. But here I have found myself along with all the twists and turns that go with it. I had my original tumor removed in December of 2011 and most recently had a recurrent tumor removed in July 2013. I will try to keep this site updated as I go forward with potential new treatment plans |
