Introduction	After 34 years in ministry as a Church of England vicar I retired in 2022 and hope to do more blogging. Still married to Elisa and we now have 2 amazing grandchildren to add to our 4 wonderful kids. This book blog includes a wide mix of literature including fiction and poems, history, theology and devotional works. I hope my love for Jesus comes over in all my posts, whether the subjects are sacred or secular.
Interests	Finnish language and culture (my wife Elisa is a Finn), playing the guitar - I strum away in church sometimes and I've been trying to learn classical for about 30 years!, literature - I took a degree in English and I have retained a love of words and books ever since, the countryside.
Favorite movies	Forrest Gump, Amelie, Anger Management, Groundhog Day, of gods and men.
Favorite music	Sibelius' 5th, Bach's Mass in B Minor, There is a Redeemer, lots of 70s stuff, (reliving my teens), Julian Bream, Meet Jesus Music Rachmaninov
Favorite books	The Bible, W H Auden, John Keats, War and Peace (sorry)
