| Introduction | I was born in 1964 in New York. I grew up along the Estero River in Southwest Florida. In the mid 80’s I moved to the Washington DC Area where I lived for almost 20 years. Everyday of my life I longed to go home and raise my children along the Gulf of Mexico and breath in the sunshine. In April of 2002 my dream became a reality and we moved back to Estero, Florida. I began the Sensitivity Awareness Workshop of Southwest Florida, Inc. in August of 2003, when I saw how typical students reacted in a negative way to my daughter Rachal and her classmates that were diagnosed with physical, mental and learning disabilities. My passion is to see one heart at a time changed. I have served as a trustee on the Board of Directors of the Barker Foundation, in Washington, DC; I am a published author and have spoken at the National Right to Life Conference. |
| Interests | Living in Southwest Florida has me aching to kayak down the Estero River at any given invitation, throw passion to the wind and head to Estero Island for a magnificent sunset or grab my camera and begin shooting the scenery around me ~ Every photograph on this blog site was taken by myself ~ Enjoy |
| Favorite movies | For the professional side of me the following movies (edited) are suggestions made to the youth during our Workshops. Mask. I Am Sam. Radio. Fat City. Forrest Gump. |
