| Introduction | The first 13 plus years of my career centered around the IT industry as a computer programmer. After working as a computer consultant for the last 3 of those years, I felt drawn to teaching and returned to the university to become a certified secondary math teacher. After 7 years in the classroom, I was able to combine my two backgrounds and begin studying educational technology tools that help bring education into the 21st century and engage today's students. My professional goals involve assisting ALL educators (not just the ones who like technology) with their ability to use technology to benefit their students. |
