Introduction	I'll read Guevara, Mao, and Marx until the sun rises. I cannot fully start my day without watching a Shakira video. I love to protest and will. I have woken up to David Bowie’s “Golden Year’s” for the past 9 years. I excrete a hormone that causes all Puerto Rican men to challenge me to knife fights. I have woken up on the Wailers tour bus. In my greatest act of subversion to date I suckered the army into sending me to college, then paying me to study philosophy. Because my grandfather had an interesting attachment to Cuba I now claim Cuban heritage. This works out well because I dance too well to be solely Irish. I have been in the Army for almost 11 years. I can survive on nothing more than coffee and the words of long dead Frenchmen inscribed onto parchment for days on end. If there is water present I will find a way to surf. I love my friends and would gladly tempt death for any of them. I can’t stand Ayn Rand. I think Jimmy Buffett is one of the greatest singer/songwriters alive today. I’m turned on by women with dreadlocks. I get emotional at the beginning of U2’s “Sunday, Bloody Sunday”. I don't get drunk...I get awesome. In closing, I’m a thirty something victim of fate.
