| Introduction | Before joining the brave new world of unschooling, I worked as the Director of Education and Formation for an Episcopal church. 15 years ago, I became a stay-at-home mom and since then have served on the Parent Teacher Organizations of 2 elementary schools, including 2 years as President. I have been a parent representative on the Special Education District Advisory Committee and the Superintendent's Parent Advisory Committee. With incredible support and encouragement from my husband, David, in March of 2013 I resigned my volunteer positions to take on a different role in the education of our three children. |
