| Introduction | I grew up in rural Wyoming. I've been married to the same man for 27 years. We have two grown sons and two grandsons age 4 and almost two. I have one step-daughter that has blessed us with two beautiful granddaughters, ages 10 and 5. I enjoy doing handwork/crafts. Quilting, basketry, knitting, crocheting, and embroidery keep my hands busy. I have been doing quite a bit of family history research recently and am enthusiastic about seeing my ancestors' stories come to life. I also do research for the local Museum and created an historic Cemetery Stroll through one of the local cemeteries for a spring Volksmarch. I work as a relief lookout for the Forest Service during the summer. I get to spend time at the local lookout towers, greeting visitors, watching wildlife and most importantly- watching for fires. During the winter I monitor and complete projects that involve multiple agencies. I especially enjoy working with the local school district to get 'more kids in the woods'. |
