| Introduction | Born and raised on Long Island, just thirty short miles from the center of trade book publishing, I grew up loving novels and wanting to write them myself. Luckily, my husband and two sons are very supportive--and tolerant. My two cats get a little annoyed on those days when they have to wait till 4 pm for breakfast, however. |
