| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! As a graduate of Oakland Christian, I am thrilled to be a part of this ministry. I met my husband at Oakland Christian, he went on to bible college and I attended Hope College in Holland, MI. I earned my bachelor's degree in education. I have always loved working with children. I did my student teaching in inner-city Chicago and then my husband and I went to Dominican Republic as missionary teachers for a short time. Besides teaching I've also served as a sunday school teacher, camp counselor, and a nanny. My husband and I have two incredible little boys, Jesse is three and Simon is one. I enjoy singing and writing music, playing sports, and spending time with my family. I am thrilled to be teaching at Oakland Christian and firmly believe in it's ministry. |
