| Introduction | I am adopted. I was born in Taiwan, but was brought to the United States when I was just 6 months old. I am thankful for my family and all of the blessings that came out of the adoption. I grew up in Texas practically my whole life. I graduated from Texas A&M (WHOOP!) with a major in interdisciplinary studies (education) and a minor in English. I married my husband (also an Aggie)in 2002. We have one sweet three year old little boy (hopefully an Aggie) and two crazy schnauzers. This is my 11th year to be teaching and I have loved every year! Though I have taught 1st and 2nd grade, 4th grade is by far my favorite. I've been teaching 4th grade for 9 years now! | Favorite Books | I love to read mysteries, thrillers, and every so often a love story. Lately though, I have been reading a whole lot of Mercer Mayer's Little Critter books. My favorite authors are John Sanford, James Patterson, and Nicholas Sparks. |
