| Introduction | The Watcher writes. I am of British origin and have lived in Spain for many years. I follow Spanish politics and media closely. I come from the kind of old-fashioned liberalism that supports individual rights, freedoms and responsibilities, that believes in the democratic values of constitutional government and the rule of law, and that loathes nationalism like the plague.
