Introduction	I have been in the teaching profession for ten years and have worked with children at the kindergarten to 5th grade level in various settings. Throughout my ten years, I’ve taught first grade for 4 and ½ years, second grade for ½ a year and served as a reading intervention teacher for five years. I am currently a certified Descubriendo La Lectura (Spanish Reading Recovery) teacher and have also been trained in Esperanza, the program used to service bilingual students who show signs of dyslexia. In my newest endeavor, I hope to gain insight on how to become an effective administrator through the Lamar University’s Masters of Educational Administration program.
