Introduction I am an avid eater or rather I just appreciate good food. I still enjoy every big of my morsel and enjoy sharing dining experiences with my friends, be it gourmet, or hawker fare. To me, enjoying food is a nurturing process rather than a natural one, because one is not born to enjoy food. Foodies aren’t born foodies! They grow up enjoying food because their parents enjoy food too. My family members are all foodies, and my mom is a pretty damn good cook, whose cooking I still criticize every now and then heh. She is one of those that will make her own soon kueh, make her own bakchangs, mooncakes & cook up a feast every chinese new year for 50-100 people at home. My friends can attest to the amounts of food churned out during the festive period.
