| Introduction | Why Sherm Lollar? Simple answer: I became a Sox fan because my uncle, who had a pregame TV show, was friends with Sherm. Ever since then, I've lived and died with the Sox as their fortunes rose and fell. This blog evolved from emails I started sending to friends, presciently counting down the Sox's Magic Number way back in April 2005. Writing The Update takes a chunk of time away from my real job, but it's worth it. Although I enjoy the law, I'd give it up in a minute if I could support myself writing about sports. |
